Since the seventies, classification of users from the Black Guerilla Family as a “gang” is applied as an excuse to focus on a number of thousand inmates for adverse generate-ups known as Area 115s, which are then placed inside their long term records and have an affect on the time they remain in jail when they appear prior to the Parole Board.�
